i almost wanted to leave a glowing review, but the damp smell in my room was simply unacceptable. not to mention the unbearably stuffy atmosphere lacking even a hint of air conditioning. a room upgrade or at least a welcoming gesture woudl ve been nice, but alas, nobody seemed to care. really disappointing, to say the least.

Consider requesting a room on the second floor for better views and reduced street noise during your stay.

The hotel offers beautiful views from the guest rooms, especially from the second floor, where the sight of the ocean glimmering in the sunlight is breathtaking. It features a charming nautical-themed decor that adds to the relaxed atmosphere, alongside a communal terrace perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery.
While the charm is undeniable, a few things could be better. The absence of air conditioning led to some discomfort, as leaving windows open resulted in noise disturbances from the streets that persisted late into the night. The rooms lean on the small side—especially the bathrooms—where the tight space makes it a bit tricky to maneuver. breakfast, though good, seems a bit overpriced for the variety offered, pushing it out of the realm of value. Lastly, it would be nice to have more comfortable room furnishings, such as a simple chair, which felt notably absent during my stay.

Couples looking for romance
The view from our room was magnificent, imagine waking up and seeing the sun glinting off the ocean. The staff helped us plan a fantastic walking tour nearby, it was like they read my mind on what would be enjoyable.
It wasn’t cheap but it was still worth it.

The stay featured a cozy and modern room with breathtaking views of the park and nearby lighthouse, perfect for evening walks to the marina. The breakfast was exceptional, especially with the delicious cooked eggs served each morning. the room lacked air conditioning, which made for some discomfort at night, and the prices felt a bit steep given the overall amenities. While it’s a lovely place to unwind, some furnishings could be updated for better comfort.

Had a great time with friends! The location is perfect for hitting up local shops and restaurants. We spent afternoons jet skiing and kite surfing, both super fun! Don't miss out on having some wine and nibbles on the courtyard terrace while enjoying the sunset. The staff are friendly and helped us with everything we needed.
The parking situation is a bit tight and costs 15 euros a day, which was a hassle. Just something to keep in mind if you're driving.

A Perfect Romantic Getaway
Our stay exceeded expectations with stunning sea views from our cozy room. Enjoyed the delicious snacking platters on the terrace, especially after a refreshing swim in the adults-only pool. Renting bikes was a breeze, allowing us to explore charming local sites easily. Highly recommend securing an underground parking spot if driving!

Just a smart choice for a weekend respite in Saint-Martin-de-Re with good price value. Staff were friendly and even advised not to pay for parking since it was off-season. Be sure to check room preferences and avoid the street-side rooms for a quieter experience.

Can't recommend highly enough for a short visit,
Charming room, lovely breakfast, with a fantastic selection of offerings and friendly staff who were always ready to assist. Easy garage parking made exploring the area a breeze.
The only slight downside was that the hotel was a bit pricey, but it was definitely worth it for the quality and amenities provided.
